DS Vaping PRISM Pod System MOD

The DS Prism Pod System (DS Vaping PRISM) is a small rechargeable battery for nicotine pods, with a 370mAh cell and adjustable voltage. It is out of stock right now. It was listed at Rs 3,299 and suits people who want a pocket device for nicotine pods rather than a refillable tank.

How the Prism works

The Prism is a battery unit, not a full kit. You fit a nicotine pod and it powers it. Voltage can be set between 3.0V and 3.7V. A lower setting gives cooler, softer puffs, and a higher setting gives a warmer hit with more vapour. There is also a pre-heat function that warms the coil for 10 seconds, so vapour comes through faster on the first draw.

To save battery, it goes into standby hibernation on its own when you are not using it. It charges with a Micro USB cable, which is included. The 370mAh battery is small, so expect to charge it more often than a larger pod mod.

Tips for small pod batteries

Start at 3.0V and step up only if the hit feels weak. Running a pod at high voltage all the time burns the coil faster. Use the pre-heat if the first puff feels thin. Nicotine pods are made for low power, so this kind of device suits nicotine salt pods well. Charge on a hard surface and unplug once it is full.
