What a fresh coil fixes

Every coil wears out. The cotton slowly clogs with sweetener and the wire builds up residue, so flavour gets flat and vapour gets thin. When that happens, the device is fine. It just needs a new coil. Swapping this one in brings back the flavour and vapour the P8 had out of the box.

It is a screw-in coil, so there are no tools and no rewicking. Unscrew the old one, screw in the new one, prime it and you are done.

How often to change it

Most vapers replace a coil every 1 to 2 weeks. It depends on how much you vape and what liquid you use. Sweet, dark liquids wear coils out faster than light fruit or menthol. Change it when the flavour fades, when it tastes burnt, or when you see liquid that will not wick properly. Fitting and priming

• Empty the tank and unscrew the old coil.
• Put a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton through the side holes of the new coil.
• Screw it in, fill the tank and wait about 5 minutes.
• Start at a low wattage for the first few puffs, then raise it.

Will it fit other 100W devices?

Why does a brand new coil taste burnt?
It was most likely fired before the cotton was soaked, or at too high a wattage. Always prime and wait.
