Picking the right resistance
The two resistances vape differently, so choose by how you like to draw. Our vape coil guide explains why resistance changes the feel.
0.8 ohm
Best between 12W and 18W. It works for mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-to-lung (RDTL) vaping. Expect a bit more vapour and a warmer puff.
1.2 ohm
Best between 8W and 12W. It is made for a quieter, tighter mouth-to-lung draw, close to a cigarette, and it goes easier on the battery. Most people who use high-strength nic salt pick this one.
If you are switching from smoking and use nicotine salt, the 1.2 ohm is the usual pick. If you prefer a looser pull, take the 0.8 ohm.

Getting more life from each pod
- After filling a new pod, wait about 5 minutes before vaping so the coil wicks fully.
- Stay inside the recommended wattage. Running a 1.2 ohm pod hot burns the cotton early.
- Refill before the level drops down to the coil inlets.
- Very sweet liquids wear coils out faster.
