What these coils do
These are authentic JomoTech coils, wicked with organic cotton. At 0.5ohm they are sub-ohm, which means a direct-lung draw and big clouds rather than a tight cigarette-style pull. A fresh coil brings the flavour back to where it was when the device was new.
Signs your current coil is done: the flavour tastes flat or muddy, there is a dry or burnt taste, or the tank starts gurgling and leaking. Once any of these show up, a new coil is cheaper than putting up with bad vapour.

How to fit and prime a new coil
- Empty the tank and remove the old coil.
- Drop a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton holes of the new coil.
- Fit the coil, fill the tank, and leave it for about 5 minutes.
- Take a few gentle puffs without firing, then start at a low wattage and work up.
Skipping the wait is the most common reason a new coil burns on the first day. It is worth keeping a spare coil at home, so you are not stuck vaping a burnt one while you wait for an order to arrive.
Which liquid to use
A 0.5ohm coil is for freebase e-liquid at 3mg or 6mg. Nicotine salts are made for pods at low wattage and will be harsh in a sub-ohm coil. Very sweet liquids tend to gunk any coil faster, so expect shorter coil life with dessert and candy flavours.

Will these fit a different device?

Why does my new coil taste burnt?
Usually the cotton was not soaked before firing, or the wattage was too high. Prime it and start low.
