Vaporesso Luxe XR Max

The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max is an 80W pod mod with a 2800mAh battery, built for a full day of vaping on one charge. It suits a vaper who has outgrown a small pod and wants more power and battery life, but still likes the simplicity of a pod. It is Rs 8,999 at Best Vape Mart, on sale from the regular Rs 14,000.

What it is like to use

The 2800mAh battery is the main reason to buy it. Most small pods need charging by the evening, and this one is made to last the day. Output goes up to 80W, which gives you room for warm, dense vapour when you want it.

Vaporesso fits it with its Axon chip, which recognises the pod and adjusts to it. The pods use Morph Mesh coils and the SSS leak-resistant design. The XR Max is also compatible with the other devices in the Luxe family, and it comes in 10 colours.

Vaporesso Luxe XR Max key features

• Output: up to 80W
• Battery: 2800mAh built in
• Chips: COREX and Axon, with pod recognition
• Pods: SSS leak-resistant, Morph Mesh coils
• Compatibility: Luxe family
• Colours: 10

Who it suits and how to choose

Buy this if battery life matters most to you and you want a pod mod rather than a box mod with a tank. If 80W is more than you need, the VOOPOO Vmate Max Pod Kit (Rs 7,499) is a smaller pod option. For more power at a lower price, the P8 Vape 100W 2200mAh (Rs 4,800) is a box mod with a tank. Our guide to how much a vape costs in Pakistan helps you set a budget.

Tips for a high power pod mod

• At higher wattage, use freebase e-liquid at 3mg or 6mg. Save nicotine salts for low wattage.
• Fill a new pod and wait 5 minutes before the first puff.
• Charge it on a hard, flat surface, not on a bed or sofa.
