SMOK Novo 2C Pod Kit 800mAh

The SMOK Novo 2C Pod Kit is a small, draw activated pod with an 800mAh battery and 2ml pods. It suits beginners and anyone who wants a light device for nicotine salts. It is out of stock right now. It was listed at Rs 4,999, down from Rs 6,500.

What it is like to use

There is no button. You just draw and it fires. Output runs from 6 to 25W. Two pods come in the box: a 1.0ohm mesh pod and a 1.4ohm MTL pod. The 1.4ohm pod gives the tighter, cigarette style draw. The 1.0ohm mesh pod is a little looser and warmer. The pods fill from the side through a silicone stopper and push into the device. An LED shows battery life.

One thing to know: it charges over micro USB, not Type-C, so keep the cable that comes with it. Updated airflow paths and protection against short circuits, low voltage and firing for over 8 seconds are built in.

Who it suits

The Novo 2C is for someone who wants a pod that is easy to carry and easy to understand. There are no menus and no screen. It is a sensible first device for a smoker switching to nicotine salts. If you want more power or a screen, look at a bigger pod mod instead. Our guide to choosing a vape pod lays out the options.
