The Smok LP1 Meshed Replacement Coils are plug and play coils for the SMOK Novo 4 and other LP1 pod devices, listed at Rs 799 (regular Rs 1,000). They are out of stock right now. They suit Novo 4 owners who want a softer, fuller vape than a plain wire coil gives.

What the LP1 meshed coil is like to use

The meshed 0.9ohm LP1 coil uses a mesh heating element and SMOK rates it at 12W. SMOK describes the result as a softer flavour with full vapour, and lists it for regular vape juice. A three silicone ring system around the coil is there to stop leaks from the base of the pod.

Changing it is quick. Pull the old coil out of the pod, push the new one in, fill up and let it soak. There is nothing to screw in.

The listing also has a 1.2ohm option. Higher resistance coils generally run at lower power and give a tighter draw, which is why people who vape nicotine salts tend to pick them.

Fitting and priming a new coil

SMOK’s own note says to prime LP1 coils for at least 10 minutes before vaping. Fill the pod, put a few drops on the exposed cotton if you can see it, and wait.
