Two pod types: Matrix Pod and Matrix Pod Mini

AAA Vape makes two versions of this cartridge. The Matrix Pod holds 4ml and takes the bigger, lower resistance coils. The Matrix Pod Mini holds 3ml and takes the higher resistance coils. Check which coils you already use before you order, because the coils do not cross over between the two pods.

Which one suits you

The 0.15ohm mesh coil in the full size pod is for direct lung vaping at higher power with low nicotine freebase liquid, 3mg or 6mg. The Mini with the 1.2ohm dual coil is the one for a tighter draw and nicotine salts. The 0.3ohm mesh coil sits in between. Our vape coil guide explains how resistance changes the draw.

Tips for a new pod

Fit the coil, fill the pod and wait about 5 minutes before the first puff so the cotton is fully soaked. Do not fill above the max line. Will a Matrix Pod Mini coil fit the full size pod?
No. The 4ml pod takes the 0.15ohm mesh and RBA coils. The 3ml Mini takes the 1.2ohm and 0.3ohm coils.
