Vmate Mini Pod Kit

The Vmate Mini Pod Kit is a small, draw-activated VOOPOO pod with a built-in rechargeable battery and refillable pod. It suits someone who wants a simple device with no buttons or settings to learn. It is in stock at Rs 3,499, on sale from the regular Rs 5,000.

What it is like to use

You fill the pod, wait a few minutes, and draw. The Vmate Mini fires when you inhale, so there is nothing to press. That makes it easy for a first vape and handy for someone who just wants a few puffs without fiddling.

It is light and fits in a pocket, so it is easy to carry to work or while travelling. When the battery runs low, charge it with a USB Type-C cable.

If you would rather have more control, the VOOPOO Vmate Pro Pod Kit 25W (Rs 6,499) lets you set the output. On a tighter budget, the Argus G2 Mini Pod Kit 30W 1200mAh (Rs 2,499) costs less. For a bigger device, see the VOOPOO Argus G2 Pod Kit (Rs 8,500).

Still deciding? Our guide on how to choose a vape pod walks through battery, coil and liquid choices.

Tips for a new pod

• After the first fill, wait about 5 minutes so the coil cotton soaks before you vape.
• Use nicotine salt e-liquid. Small draw-activated pods like this are made for salts at low power.
• Charge on a hard, flat surface and unplug when it is full.
• If it starts to taste burnt, the pod or coil is worn out and needs changing.
