Romio Astro Pod Kit

The Romio Astro Pod Kit is a pod mod from Romio Indonesia with a 1200mAh battery, 5W to 30W output and a 0.96 inch colour screen. It suits a vaper who wants a pod with plenty of extras, including Bluetooth for calls and music. It is Rs 7,499 at Best Vape Mart, on sale from Rs 10,000.

What the Romio Astro is like to use

The vaping side is simple. The 2ml cartridge comes with a 0.4ohm coil and fills from the side. Output runs from 5W to 30W, with single and dual output modes. The device can count your puffs and remind you of your steam count.

What makes the Astro different is everything else on the screen. It connects to your phone by Bluetooth to listen to calls and music, and it has games, a clock, an alarm, a calendar, a timer, a flashlight and a phone locator. A child lock is built in, and you can shut down or reset the device from the screen.

Is it worth the price?

If you only care about vaping, you are paying for features you will not use. The Argus G2 Mini Pod Kit 30 Watts (Rs 2,499) has the same 1200mAh and 30W for far less. The Kumiho THOTH C Metal Body (Rs 4,499) is a solid middle option. Buy the Astro if the screen and Bluetooth are what you want. Our guide on how to choose a vape pod can help you decide.

Tips

With the 0.4ohm cartridge, keep the power toward the middle of the range and use lower nicotine. Fill the cartridge and wait 5 minutes before the first puff. Charge on a table or desk, not on your bed.
